Concertmaster

The 2nd prizewinner of the 2007 Padova International Competition in Italy, Dominic Woo is an active solo violinist in Europe, Asia, and Canada. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music from Felix Mendelssohn School of Music in Leipzig, Germany where he made his debut performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in the Mendelssohn house. Dominic also has been giving concerts throughout Europe including Italy, Germany, Hungary, Russia and Switzerland with the chamber orchestra “I’sedici.” In 2010, Dominic graduated with a Konzertexamen (doctorate) Degree from Dresden Musikhochschule where he studied with Gramophone award winner, John Holloway. Dominic frequently gives concerts and masterclasses in Europe and Canada and teaches violin in Vancouver, Canada.
