Concert Times
When do matinee concerts take place?
- Doors open at 1:00 PM
- Preconcert talk begins at 1:15 PM
- Concert starts at 2:00 PM
- Note: Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance
When do evening concerts take place?
- Doors open at 6:45 PM
- Preconcert talk begins at 7:00 PM
- Concert starts at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise specified)
- Note: Latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance
Preconcert Talks
What are the Preconcert Talks?
Informative and entertaining talks that provide a great introduction to the music you are about to enjoy. They cover the history of the music and details about the particular performance.
Is there an additional fee for the Preconcert Talks?
No, Preconcert Talks are included with your ticket.

Where are VMO concerts held?

Can I buy tickets in person?
Yes, you can buy tickets in person from the Box Office at the venue. Ticket prices are the same regardless of whether you purchase online, by phone, or in person.
How do I pick up tickets ordered by phone or online?
Your tickets will be ready for pickup at the venue’s Will Call window at least 45 minutes before your concert start time.
When is the Box Office open?
The venue Box Office opens 60 minutes prior to curtain time and remains open until 15 minutes after the concert begins.
Assistance
What if I have questions at the theater?
You can ask VMO Volunteers who are stationed throughout the theatre. They wear VMO tags and are there to answer questions and provide assistance.
What kind of help can I expect?
Volunteers can provide information about the concert, the theatre’s facilities, or any other assistance you might need.
