Hannah Han

Piano

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Hannah began studying music at the age of five. She started her piano studies with Edward J. Parker and throughout the years, she also received lessons from Ian Parker. Currently eighteen years old, she is attending UBC.

Besides completing both her ARCT Performer and Teacher’s, she has also competed in many music festivals and won numerous awards including the silver medal from RCM Examinations. When Hannah was nine years old, she was selected to perform for Alexina Louie at the UBC Recital Hall. Then in 2008, she was invited as a guest soloist to perform at the I’Park Mall in South Korea. In 2010, Hannah performed as a part of the Symphonic Hall of Fame with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Recently in 2011, Hannah was invited to play with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra again in the Tea & Trumpets concert.

Besides a love for music, Hannah shares a passion for languages. Apart from English, she is able to speak French, Korean and some Japanese. Her future goal is to study music and become a concert pianist.
