Su-Fan Yiu, violin
VMO 10th Anniversary Season Opening Concert
Born in Taiwan, and a native of Vancouver, Canada, Ms. Su-Fan Yiu started to play the violin at the age of 4 under the guidance of her parents, Wen-Liang Yiu and Ling-Hui Chuang. In 1999, Ms. Yiu made her solo debut with the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra. read more
Luke Wook Young Kim
VMO 10th Anniversary Season Opening Concert
Following his debut with the Seoul Symphony Orchestra at age 11, Luke Wook Young Kim has won numerous competitions and performed as a soloist with orchestras, such as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the UBC Symphony Orchestra. read more
Emily Yu
VMO 10th Anniversary Season Opening Concert
Emily Yu, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Oboe Performance from the University of British Columbia, student of Beth Orson and a Master’s degree from Boston University, student of Laura Ahlbeck. read more
Tristan Lambert
VMO 10th Anniversary Season Opening Concert
Tristan Lambert began playing the bassoon at age 11, motivated by his love for Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf. Tristan received his Master of Music at UBC and has studied with Jesse Read, Julia Lockhart, Ken Wagner and Christopher Millard. This season will be Tristan’s third season with the VMO. read more
