Continuing our Pops Concert which was inaugurated last year; the VMO presents a concert that consists of music for everyone, hence the title “Concert 101.” VMO is pleased to invite the President and Vice Chancellor of University of British Columbia, Professor Santa Ono, a dedicated cellist and passionate musician. He will be performing works by Haydn and Tchaikovsky. We believe this concert will be an inspiration to everyone to get back into learning their instruments that they may have learned when they were young, or to pick up one. It is never to late to learn a new instrument! The Orchestra will play popular pops and classic works from movie themes, Operas, and the classical repertoire. The second half will consist of a featured soloist and band going through some great popular pieces! Stay Tuned!
